Steve Pearl, President of Disability Management Associates, Inc. will give a presentation on NYS General Municipal Law Sec 207, the NYS Benefit program covering Injured On Duty Police Officers and Professional Firefighters, as well as NYS Workers Compensation. He will explore cost exposure (direct and Indirect) to municipalities of the two state mandated programs, as well as comprehensive programs and methodologies available to municipalities to manage the costs and lost work time associated with each mandated benefit program.
